Getting Started

OurHudson.org is a web-based forum about the future of the Hudson Valley that provides a virtual town hall for citizens to engage with one another across the region. Through online networking tools including thematic discussions, affinity groups, and interactive blogs, members are leading a river-long discussion of possibilities about the future of our beloved watershed. You should be part of it!

The heart of this initiative is you, and there are many exciting ways to engage:

• Join a Discussion about a topic that interests you.

• Create a Group based on an organization to which you currently belong, or on a particular topic. Members in a Group can stimulate discussions and share news/events, photos, audio and video with fellow members -- all in one place. Groups can be open to the public or limited to members. We are happy to work with you to customize a Group for your needs.

• Keep your own blog or post an entry in the Community Journal. This is a great way to share your thoughts on a topic.

Comment on other people's Community Journal entries. Comments can be posted publicly or privately.

• Announce an event in the Community Calendar.

Sign up now and join this important and exciting conversation!
